Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the process of permanently removing hair by delivering a minute amount of current into each individual hair follicle. Electrolysis has been used globally for more than 140 years as the ONLY method of permanent hair removal. Modern advances in technology enable electrologists today to precisely deliver and modulate the intensity and duration of the current, achieving greater accuracy in destroying the follicle as well as improving the comfort level for the client.

Treatment sessions are provided on a timed basis, ranging from 15 minutes to more than an hour depending on the area being treated. The number of treatments to achieve the desired amount of hair removal varies with each client and the goals of the client. Factors such as hair growth cycles, the quantity and structure of hair presented, previous use of temporary hair removal methods, heredity, hormone function, certain medication and stress influence the treatment program for each individual.
